Con una magnifica figura de Eduard Perez comienza esta nueva iniciativa que "enfrentara" a dos grandes pintores, en este primer "Duelo" a José Hernández y Pepe Gallardo, que desconociendo el trabajo del otro harán una versión personal de una misma figura. Now it's avaiable the new figure designed by Mike Good. It's the first figure Mike have done for Elite, and we hope not the last. I can say it have been a really nice experience. In words of Mike in "Planet Figure Forums"...... "It is an artistic attempt at developing a graceful figure rather than a strictly "realistic" one. So, it is more in the vein of a Latorre or Horan sculpt than my usual "dumpy" look. I am still playing with moving between these two extremes. I have to say that the idealized figures certainly are more visually attractive. I suspect there will be more of these in my future......". Go

Los pasados días 17 y 18 de abril, se celebró en la localidad madrileña de Alpedrete una nueva edición de este gran concurso. Situado, en esta ocasión, en los salones del "Hotel Sierra Real", contó con una gran asistencia de público y participantes.
Para nosotros fue una buena ocasión de pasar un fin de semana junto a los aficionados y amigos que por allí estuvieron.
Nuestro agradecimiento a la organización, por sus atenciones y su buen hacer.

Last days 17 and 18 of April, took place in Alpedrete (Madrid) a new edition of this great competition. Located, in this occasion, in the "Hotel Sierra Real", had a great public attendance and participants.
For us it was a good occasion to pass a weekend next to the fans and friends that over there were.
Our gratefulness to the organization, for their attentions and their good one to make.
We wait vairs again in a next edition.

Tras nuestro primer acuerdo, el pasado año, con la reconocida y prestigiosa marca "Poste Mi1itaire", para adquirir la serie de figuras en 70mm. y 90mm. del genial Stefáno Cannone, para así poder completar un poco más la serie que viene realizando para nosotros.
Ahora, queremos anunciar a todos los aficionados que para este año, y con la idea de enriquecer aun más nuestra exitosa Serie en 70mm., pondremos a la venta durante este año la colección de figuras que Derek Hansen realizó para Poste Militaire, y que pasarán a ser modelos en exclusiva del Catálogo de Elite Miniaturas.
Esperamos que esta noticia sea del agrado de todos los aficionados, ya que la calidad de las figuras de este excelente escultor, sigue vigente aún en estos días, y es comparable a cualquier figura de reciente aparición.
Los aficionados veteranos tendrán la oportunidad de pintar alguna de estas figuras, que les quedaron como una asignatura pendiente, o volver a pintarlas con la experiencia y calidad acumulada en estos años. Por último, agradecer a una persona que tanto he admirado y admiro, que ha sido siempre un referente en nuestro trabajo, y que tanto ha aportado a esta afición con su extraordinario trabajo, Ray Lamb (Poste Militaire), su buena disponibilidad y gentileza para llevar acabo este acuerdo.

After our first agreement, the past year, with the recognized and  prestigious brand "Mi1itaire Post", to acquire the series of figures in 70mm. and 90mm. of the brilliant Stefáno Cannone, thus to be able to complete a little plus the series that comes making for us.
Now, we want to announce all the fans whom east year stops, and with the idea to even enrich plus our successful Series in 70mm., we will on sale put during this year the collection of figures that Derek Hansen made for Militaire Post, and which they will pass to be models in exclusive right of the Catalogue of Elite Miniaturas.
We hoped that this news is to the liking of all the fans, since the quality of the figures of this excellent escultor, still follows effective in these days, and is comparable to any figure of recent appearance.

The veteran fans will have the opportunity to paint some of these figures, that stayed to them as a pending subjet, or to return to paint them with the experience and accumulated quality in these years. And the young people will be able to have for the first time pieces that already comprise of the History of the Figures.
Finally, thanking for a person which as much I have admired and I admire, that has been always a referring one in our work, and that as much has contributed to this liking with its extraordinary work, Ray Lamb (Post Militaire), its good availability and gentility to take I finish east agreement. And to all the fans an affectionate greeting, and good painting.
